My classroom project is designed to enhance my positive learning environment. I can bring my teaching style and attitude, but it also needs to look and feel like a positive place to be. My limited classroom budget does not allow for extra items that makes it feel that way. In this project I have requested 3 different materials that add a positive touch to our learning environment. The first is a sizable rug that will serve as our meeting place to discuss important topics. I like to think of it as the "dining room table" or "family room" of our class. The second item are fidget bands for those students who need to move and have resistance as they sit. This helps with fidgeting - which can be disruptive to some students. The third item is decorative posters. Just having something nice to look at and serve as a reminder of our positive work environment. These are my items! I hope you choose to fulfill them!
