Funded Jun 11, 2018My second-grade class and I will like to thank you for investing in our future. Our new reading and independent learning stations are amazing learning times. The new twist on technology has brought so much joy to my students wanting to read. My students play video games at home for pleasure and downtime however, they have realized that technology can be fun and exciting during their learning time. The comfortable pillows help them to stay focused during their independent reading time. My students can relax and enjoy reading while learning.
My students are so excited when they engage in their new technology and comfort pillows, that they forget they are learning! They are able to enjoy reading in peace and occupy their own carpet space of choice. They are most excited when they get to interact with read-along books and their favorite videos. They are also excited when they wear their bright red individual headphones to ensure their privacy. It brings so much joy to my heart to see my students engaged and owning their learning.
We can not thank you enough! Our classroom is growing with new adventures in mind and continues to change throughout the school year. I often hear several of my students discussing what book, biography, or video they will read. They love to use our new technology, to log onto our blended learning programs that support their reading. Your donations have given my students the opportunity to explore, research, and most of all read to learn.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Stewart
