The different types of plastic food will help us sort them into color groups and also will provide a tangible item for them to identify when we review vocabulary. I picked several different food bags because I want to have enough variety and several of one item because my class sizes are so big. The grocery baskets will help when we do grocery store skits where they can independently grab what they need when they are shopping. The plastic tote will make it easier to store them when we aren't using it and the kids will know where they go when we are done with class. Routine is everything.
