Boys and girls in Kindergarten use many tools in their daily learning activities including wipe-off boards, magnetic letter boards, daily journals and books at their own reading levels. It is hard to keep it all straight. I like to provide students with what they need in order to feel successful and in charge of their own materials. In Kindergarten we are social learners and we sit at tables rather than individual student desks. Seat sacks will help us have the best of both worlds allowing us to keep the materials we need close by, saving instructional time, and also encouraging independence and responsibility.
