Basic Materials Lead to Amazing Students
Funded Jan 18, 2022I am overjoyed with gratitude for our kind generosity. My students are the truly enjoying using all the new materials in our classroom daily. My students were truly amazed that there are people who would donate items to them without personally knowing them. One phrase I often hear them say when they are working on different task and have to get their new items is," remember to take care of the colors, because the nice people sent them to us and we do not want to waste them." It makes me so proud to hear them use those sweet phrases.
Having these supplies has helped us as we glide through this tough school year. It may be tough some days but knowing that others care so much for the happiness and well being of my students is so comforting. Once again your generosity is truly appreciated.”

Funded Jan 10, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity. My students have really been enjoying using the new art supplies and much needed daily classroom materials. Finally, they have plenty of art supplies without having to deal with broken or missing ones. These new supplies are being used daily with students in grades Kinder through 5th grade. They were all so excited to see them arrive.
My students have become very aware of how the donations are gifts and how they must take care of their supplies with care. The supplies are stored daily in their proper locations and the kids have also learned to share and be kinder to each other. Being physically back in our classroom has helped them to see how important it is to work together to take care of their supply donations.
Your gift impacts so many students. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your gifts.”

Funded Dec 30, 2021Our Special Ed team is truly grateful for your generosity. Your donations have provided healthy snacks for our students who may at times come to school without having breakfast. There There are days when kids just need a snack to feel energized to begin their school day. It is truly amazing to see their faces light up when you offer a healthy snack choice.
There are many different factors that can impact my students reactions and actions throughout the school day. Your support has helped us get through some difficult times.
There are days when my students may be having a difficult time expressing their frustrations and offering the choice of snack gives them to opportunity to feel safe, be able to relax, take a break, and communicate.”

Funded May 21, 2020I am truly grateful for your generous donations. As a Special Education Teacher, I am always looking for ways in which I can teach my students as they gain confidence in themselves. Being a Special Education teacher is very challenging during this pandemic. I struggled with finding appropriate engaging materials /lessons that my students would enjoy at the beginning of the pandemic. I felt that I needed to bring my whole classroom home to have the necessary materials my students needed from day to day.
Teachers Pay Teachers is an essential teacher resource that I have used throughout the years. Teachers have already created standards based engaging lessons that we have previously used in the classroom. As I adapted to teaching in a new format Teachers pay Teachers became an essential part of my lesson planning, visual supports, and finding interactive materials for my students. I was able to buy resources that helped expand the students understanding of reading and mathematical concepts with the use of the interactive materials. . I will be able to have my students use these resources digitally and I was able to print from home and create visual packets for students that needed them.”

Funded May 13, 2020Thank You so much for the wonderful art materials for my students. Due to the pandemic, my students have had to spend the majority of their day isolated at home. My students engage in online tasks for academic instruction which includes Google classroom, Zoom learning sessions with me in which they love participating in with the little resources they had at home. That is why I felt that they needed to have the same materials so that they could feel we had a bit of school with us at home.
My students have been able to share their ideas through art. They were so eager to meet through our weekly zoom sessions. They began the sessions with smiles and ended the sessions with even bigger smiles. The materials gave my students the opportunity to be able to share their emotions through weekly art lessons. I choose lessons which we could create together after reading together throughout the week.
Once my students complete their art pieces I take photos of them and have been able to print the art pieces and post them on my wall at home just like I would have done if we were at school. We are very grateful for your generosity and kind hearts.”

Funded May 28, 2020Thank You so much for the generous donations to our "Can You Hear Me Now Project". During this new chapter in our educational system, every day is a struggle to have full participation from students with out distractions around. The headsets and electronic mice will be very helpful for my students. We have noticed that with the headsets it is much easier to move from tab to to tab and mute and unmute!!!!
My students love surprises and when I told them they would be taking a little trip to school to pick up the headsets and electronic mice they were beyond excited. Not only because they were receiving such wonderful gifts from you all , but because they would all be using the same equipment. One of my student's reaction was , " Yay it would be like we are all working the same, and this way we don't have to hear all the noise from the houses." This much more than a monetary or physical item donation, it is an investment in the education of our future doctors, teachers, mechanics, astronauts, and much much more.”
