Funded Feb 17, 2019Thank you so much for the donation of the Evolution basketballs. Our junior varsity and varsity boys basketball teams will greatly benefit for years to come. The student-athletes were truly excited as we were in need of new basketballs. This donation will allow our students to practice and play games with high quality basketballs.
We have already utilized the basketballs for training purposes. The student-athletes work on their ball handling and shooting techniques after-school. The school also had a basketball game at the Barclays center in which we used the basketballs for warm-ups and game play.
Our students will continue to utilize the basketballs during the summer for off-season workouts. We will also participate in a summer tournament and will use the basketballs pregame and for game play. The plan is to use these high performance basketballs for the next three to five years as they are made to last.”

Funded Nov 16, 2018I would like to thank you for your extremely generous donation. We currently have three basketball teams, (Boys Junior Varsity & Varsity, Girls Varsity) with a total of 45 students, utilizing the training equipment. The student-athletes utilize the jump ropes, agility ladders and resistance bands for stretching and pre-practice workouts. During practice, each of the teams use the (2) defensive men, blocking pads and heavy basketballs. The coaches use the whistles during practice. Each of the coaches use the dry-erase boards during games to review strategies and game plan.
Once the basketball season is over, other students on campus will have access to the training equipment during their physical education classes.
The student-athletes were very happy when they saw the equipment. Many of them had asked for training equipment that will allow them to enhance their skills and assist in their overall development. The students look forward to the pre and post workouts and genuinely value the equipment. The coaches have seen the difference in the eagerness of the students to workout and the increase in strength, agility and conditioning of the athletes. The benefits can also be seen on the court as all three basketball teams are having successful seasons thus far.
The next step is to continue to train a larger number students throughout the rest of the school year. As a campus, we want to encourage all of our students to exercise in a safe environment where they will not be judged. We want to combat obesity and help students work towards and maintain healthier lifestyles.
On behalf of the entire Brandeis Campus, we sincerely thank you for contribution to our students and community. Our youth will continue to benefit from the training materials for years to come. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to collaborate with your great company in the future.”
