As our school year has gotten underway, my students have proven that work does not just happen while sitting at a desk. Not all of my students work to their full potential sitting at a regular student desk. With diverse seating options, my students will have control of their learning and how they can be most successful. A standing desk for students who do their best work while standing. Pillows for the students who need to work around a small table. Large bean bag chairs, reading chairs, and saucer chairs for students who do their best work in a more comfortable environment. These seating options will allow my students to be more focused and engaged during instruction and make the most of time when we are working in groups.
