I had one option for alternative seating last year but almost 30 students that wanted to access the exercise ball per class. It wasn't fair for everyone else when one student got to move while the others were stuck working in an uncomfortable desk. I chose flexible seating as my first project because I know it will lay a foundation for how I want my classroom to function this year. It is so important that kids are given choices in school. I want my students to look forward to their reading and writing class. By donating to this project for Active Chairs and Fitness Balls, you are not only encouraging a fun and welcoming learning environment, you are also helping students become better readers and writers by stimulating their brains through movement.
