  • Cushion Your Learning!

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you so very much for your generosity and kindness in donating to my classroom. My students were thrilled to see the bright colors and vibrant energy the cushions provide. They couldn't wait for me to set them up! They already love the new cushions so much and have been enjoying them every chance they get. These cushions have impacted their learning in several ways. One is that they actually look forward to reading time now. You have helped me create such a warm and homey environment that fosters their learning. They also ask to do their partner work on the floor with the cushions. I truly feel like the students are learning more and doing more work in the comfort you've helped provide.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chapman

  • Flexible Seating for All

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you so much for the tables that allowed me to provide not only flexible seating options for my students but also the opportunity for more small group instruction. The day the tables arrived, my students walked in and yelped with excitement. They love to have the space of a table rather than a desk to help keep themselves more organized and comfortable resulting in better attention and focus during class.

Having tables allows for multiple opportunities to collaborate with each other and hear a variety of ideas around the same topic. The tables are also providing me the opportunity to easily walk around the room and hear group discussions allowing me to know right away if the students understand the content.

I could go on and on about how these tables have impacted my classroom..but I will leave you with my heart-felt sincerest gratitude. Thank you all for your kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chapman

Having the opportunity to sit or stand while learning is an invaluable part of education, even more so for students with learning disabilities and challenges. As a Special Education Resource Teacher, we do a lot of group work and small group instruction in class. Having tables makes small group instruction more intimate and accessible. In addition, having tables that can be adjusted to a stand-up height, provides students who need to move the opportunity to do so. Studies have shown, flexible seating provides many benefits such as increased motivation and engagement.
