  • Art on Cart - Mini Projector

    Funded Sep 25, 2020

Our new mini projector has opened up a world of wonders in each individual classroom.

Due to the pandemic, our art class had to be moved on a cart within our classrooms. These classrooms were not put together with the concept or art-making within them which made our work hard to do. However, with your generous donations toward our mini projector, we were able to continue watching artist technique and other educational videos that assisted us in our learning!

We greatly appreciate what you have made possible for us during this limiting year, and while life got put on hold for a little while, our art class learning did not!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fournier

  • Art Class Printer

    Funded Jan 24, 2020

I am greatly appreciative of you help in funding our new art class printer! I can't emphasize how much this piece of technology will help out our art class. I can tell you that the students will be so excited to now have access to many many more resources to help them learn more about the world around us. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fournier

  • Crazy Comics for Art Class!

    Funded Dec 30, 2019

My students will be so excited to come back from winter break and jump right into portraiture with the ability of doing it through comics! I have not been able to teach them about this style of art due to not having access to the proper educational materials for the students. We are so thankful and appreciative of you donations to our art class! Thank you so much!”

  • Instax for Our Art Class!

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

We appreciate all of your help and support in funding the instax camera for our class. This will help us in showing appreciation to our hard working students by allowing us to display images of them on our star student wall in our classroom. We will also be able to use this to create scrapbook images for our graduating 5th graders! Thank you so much!”

  • Clay Day!

    Funded Apr 17, 2019

Thanks to your donations towards our air dry clay, we were able to make sculptures in our classroom!

The first project we were able to do with the air dry clay, was make Greek vases! We looked at the designs and shapes that the Ancient Greek people used in their clay works, and tried to replicate that shape through clay. Then we were able to paint our vases orange and draw the designs with sharpie. We also built greek columns using toilet paper rolls and cardstock.

The other project we were able to do was make animal pinch pots! We learned about the steps of making a pinch pot, then we chose an animal and created our own touches to add to these.

Because of your donation, we were able to explore different parts of the art world we would have not been able to do before this. So thank you again. It was much appreciated!”

  • Color Our World!

    Funded Nov 6, 2018

Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom. The students were so happy to see the new art supplies to arrive. When they first saw the crayon sharpener, they could not wait to use it and not have to work with dull crayons anymore. When they saw the paint, they were so curious about how it looked and how it was different from the other paints we have used in our classes. Because of your donations, my students are so eager to come to class and try something new in art. Thank you again from the Lincoln School students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fournier

With these new digital cameras, memory card, and camera case my students will be able to learn about another form of art that they might not be able to learn outside of school, and this will bring technology into our classroom. They will learn how to use and care for a digital camera, as well as learn about composition, portraits, landscapes, prints and more! I have many students that I know that would love to learn about this technological art form and do not have the means to do this at home. I feel that with bringing in this type of technology into our classroom will really expand what our students can do with art in the real world. With your help, we can make this happen!
