My students come from all walks of life. Many have circumstances and diagnoses that create challenges to learning. All of my middle schoolers are deserving and capable. To meet their diverse needs and build a foundation of literacy, students must have their basic needs met and be afforded a range of exposure and experiences. As students devour the pages of each book within our library, they will be solidifying their future of a lifetime of literacy. It is impossible to precisely measure the value a library and basic learning supplies bring to a child.

About my class
