  • English Department Extreme Makeover

    Funded Feb 21, 2025

I can’t thank you enough for your contribution. I am so grateful that I had so many people show up to donate to our cause. I am so excited to get to work on this project and share the before/after pictures with y’all. This space is going to be completely transformed! Thank you again!”

  • Fresh Flexible Seating Options

    Funded Aug 31, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. Of all the things we received, I was shocked that it was the fuzzy rug that my students loved the most. It has been amazing watching 14-16-year-olds channel their inner kindergartener to sit on the fuzzy rug and just pet it. It has truly transformed our tutorial period as they lie on the rug, get cozy, and complete their assignments. I've really enjoyed watching this classroom become a warm, safe place for them. It's amazing what the smallest addition can do for morale. We've also loved the stand-up desks! It's helped my most restless students find focus during note-taking. It's also aided in facilitating group work and presentations. I can't thank you enough for your support in my continued efforts to make this classroom a warm, inviting place.”

  • Restocking Basic Classroom Supplies

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom! My students appreciate your support more than I can express.

They've been especially excited about the boxes of water. They have been making many jokes about boxed water tasting better than bottled water. Mostly I think they appreciate knowing that I have their back if they need some water or a snack during class, so I thank you for your help in providing these items.

The other big hit from this project has been the fidget cubes. Amazingly it's helped even the most phone addicted student have something else to fidget with and stay focused on the curriculum.

I really appreciate your support and assistance in procuring these items for my students. A little bit of kindness goes a long way and you couldn't have picked a more grateful bunch to bestow kindness upon.”

  • Basic Supplies To Support Learning

    Funded Nov 12, 2022

I can't thank you enough for supporting my classroom. The kids were so excited when the boxes started arriving.

These basic learning supplies have been amazing. The kid's favorite part of this project was hands down the snacks. It has been so helpful to provide them with a little brain food when they need it. They tell me they are hungry and I send them straight to the snack cabinet. It's been awesome to have that well-stocked.

Their other favorite has been the recordable buzzers. It's been so fun having them record their own sound and then "buzz" in when we're playing review games.

Everything that we were able to purchase with this project has been a great asset to the classroom!”

  • Group Carts Filled With Supplies

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

These carts have been an amazing addition to the classroom. Each of my table groups now has quick access to supplies they may need. My students have hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, and Kleenex in arm's reach. Everything is there for their group if they need markers, scissors, or paper for an assignment.

It's also really helped clean up the clutter in the classroom because now every supply has a home. The classroom is looking more put together which has aided in my goal of creating a safe, welcoming environment for my kiddos to learn in.

I've also really enjoyed watching my students use the table tops of the carts to create alternative seating options when they work together.

These carts have so many purposes and we're utilizing them to the full extent.

Thank you so much for your donation!”

  • English Cafe

    Funded Aug 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation! My students absolutely love these patio sets. They use them all the time to sit outside the classroom when they have independent work time. One of the photos I shared is one of two of my students sitting outside to record dialogue for a project.

It's been great to provide an alternative seating option to my students. During lunch even students I don't have in my classes show up asking to borrow my table and chairs to have a cozy place to sit to eat. There have been lots of jokes by the students that Badgerow's Cafe is the place to be.

Again thank you so much for helping me create a safe, loving place for my kiddos to learn!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Badgerow

  • PRIDE Month Library Inclusivity Update

    Funded Jul 21, 2022

Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. The money you contributed when towards a significant update to my classroom library that allowed me to add texts that were inclusive for my diverse student body. These beautiful books are proudly displayed on my bookshelf.

Students have been getting so excited when they see the various titles. The Heartstopper graphic novels have been a particular favorite amongst the students. As a student flipped through the pages and ran across the bisexual character, I overheard them say, "Hey, look, it's me." They were so excited. It is so important for students to see themselves reflected in literature and media. I love having these texts available for my students.

It meant so much to my kiddos when they found out that the books were purchased with donations from strangers on the internet. They felt so loved and special, knowing there were people they didn't know in the world rooting for them. Thank you so much for helping me give this gift to them!”

  • Power Snacks

    Funded Jan 4, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. My students were so excited the day that the snacks showed up. They love knowing that there is a place on campus where they can go if they forget their lunch or if they're just feeling a little snacky during the day. I have one student, in particular, that is always hungry and is so grateful for your contribution.

Often my students will show up with a friend who just really needs something to eat. I love being able to be that teacher on campus that can support all of our students in one way or another. Thank you so much for everything you've done to support me in creating a safe space for these kids during such trying times!”

    With gratitude,

  • Cleansing the Past With Fresh Supplies

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

I can't thank you enough for your donation. I think my students most appreciated the snacks I was able to provide through this project. I have one student in particular that rarely comes to school with lunch and knows he can pop in to ask for a granola bar. Having access to a snack has helped improve my students' engagement with my course and provided necessary emotional support.

It has been awesome being able to meet my student's basic needs like a snack, a band-aid, a kleenex, or even a mini deodorant. My students feel so cared about and supported. They were blown away when I explained that strangers on the internet cared so much about them that they donated money to our cause.

Thank you so much again for loving my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Badgerow

Being a high school student today comes with a lot of stress, especially when you need a safe place to get your work done. Many of my students don’t have a quiet, place at home where they feel comfortable to get their work done. So they come to my room before school, during lunch, during study hall, and after school. I’d like to create a nice space in the classroom where they can putting aside the drama for a minute and just focus on the subject matter. I also see this chair being a huge benefit when it comes to having alternative seating options for class time. All of our furniture in the classroom has been around for a very long time. It’d also be so nice for the kids to get something new, just for them.
