I would love to have a fish tank in my classroom. Students will explore living things. They are excited about fish. A fish tank will make a difference in many ways. For example, the children will experience seeing a life fish versus one in a book or on a computer. The children will be able to explore and talk about what a fish does while in the water. The children will be able to see the different ways a fish moves. The children will be able to compare living and non living things. The children will take responsibility for feeding the fish every day. They will understand and see for themselves that animals need food just like humans.
