In fourth grade, we are lacking an updated library that excites the students. Successful readers need to be able to choose books that interest them, and meet their reading needs. In order to foster a love for reading, I would like to be able to give my kids new books, and Scholastic News Magazines. Our school is a community driven school, that serves under privileged children. The majority of our kids (98%) are English Language Learners, and significantly below grade level. These books will continue to enhance the print-rich room I strive to create, and cultivate the love for reading all should have.

About my class
