  • Creating Independent Readers and Technology Leaders of Tomorrow!

    My students have been benefiting from the technology devices during these challenging times. Many of my students enjoy reading books in the tablets.

    Students in my class have become independent readers that are genuinely interested in reading. They have access to read books at their level as well as their interest. My students are also enjoying the apps that help them with other subjects such as math.

    The students in my classroom like that these tablets are available to them in the class. Several of my students do not have their own technology device to bring to school or to do their assignments at home. Students are given additional time during class to use classroom technology and complete their assignments. We are all very grateful to all the generous donors that helped us.”

Teaching and learning looks very different than what we were used to seeing a couple of years ago. Everyone of my students and their families have had to adapt to the daily use of technology for the purpose of learning. Many of my students are first born generations in the United States or have migrated from other countries. All students have faced some form of difficulty this past year, and my students have not been the exception. The students in my classroom are resilient and they always try to do their very best. I have been able to admire my students love for literature as well as their appreciation for writing. They have built a positive sense of community and enjoy coming to classes every day! These brilliant minds are in need of resources such as technology resources, school supplies, and books. My students are eager learners and are truly grateful for the generous donations.
