Because of the socioeconomic background of my students, I would like to purchase a class set for the Media Academy of What You Should Know About Politics . . . But Don't: A Nonpartisan Guide to the Issues That Matter and Naked Economics: Undressing the Dismal Science. These resources would be used with our curriculum to give students a deeper understanding of how politics work in the United States and how economic principals can be found in everyday life. What I love about these two resources is that they are accessible for all learners and provide a college-like experience as they interact with textbooks.
