Celebrating Diversity With Our Young Learners!
Funded Jul 17, 2021First of all, Thank you so very much for your kind and generous donations to make our project Celebrating Diversity With Our Young Learners a reality. When our Dolls from around the world and hello posters arrived I added them to the dramatic play center right away.
As soon as I added the dolls from around the world in our dramatic play center our young learners were so excited. They started to play with them right away. It is a very popular center and they love taking turns using the different dolls. We are starting to have conversations about where each doll comes from.
Thanks to your donations our dramatic play center has the items that our young learners needed to explore different cultures.”

Laminator Creations!
Funded May 4, 2021Thank you so very much to everyone that helped to fund our project Laminator Creations. Our young learners were so excited when they saw our package from Donor's Choose. The laminator that you helped to fund is a very handy tool in our classroom. I have used the laminator to laminate words for the word wall which students refer to on a daily basis as we are exploring new words.
The students get so excited when they see their art projects laminated. Now their special projects can be preserved and saved for a long time. Our young students can look back at their projects and remember the fun things they did at school. Our class laminator will be used quite often for so many other projects that are coming up.
Once again thank you so much for all of your kind and generous donations. We are so grateful to you all.”

Funded Dec 29, 2020First of all, we would like to thank you all for helping to fund our project, "Imaginations Soaring Through Dramatic Play!" Our young Pre-K friends were so excited when they saw the boxes from Donors Choose. The first thing they said was, "Mrs. Fernandez what did we get in those boxes?" They all wanted to help unpack the new items.
Our young learners love the dramatic play center. Their favorite part is the kitchen. They started to role play right away. Their favorite items were the new fruits and vegetables. Another favorite was the birthday cake surprise. They love to pretend to sing happy birthday and cut the cake while they play together.
Thank you so much for helping us make happy unforgettable memories for our young learners.”

Young Scientists Ready to Explore!
Funded Nov 6, 2020First of all thank you so much for funding our project "Young Scientists Ready to Explore!" Our young learners are starting to explore the sea life and plant life specimens. They are so very smart. One of my young learners stated, "That's a crab and it lives on the beach but this one is not alive." I was so proud of them as I heard their smart conversations on the different specimens they were observing. It is one of their favorite things in our science center.
When the students saw all of our new materials set up on the table they were so curious. They wanted to know what everything was. They wanted to use all the items at once. I can't wait to see all the explorations that will be done this year with our new science center materials.
Once again thank you so much for making this possible for our young learners.”
