• We Are All Ears, Again!

  As a veteran teacher using technology in the classroom is both rewarding and challenging. Technology opened the classroom walls and exposed the students to new and exciting things every year. The school system does provide recourses but are limited due to the schools budget, need I say more. Teaching several ELA classes of 20 - 25 students a day using Chrome Books was a major challenge without headphones. The noise level was high and the students were not paying attention to their work. They stopped every time they heard a "ding." Your generosity stopped the noise and enabled the students to focus on their learning path and achieve their educational goals.”

• Crafty Crochet Lunchroom

  Wow, thank you for supporting my class. This project made a difference for my students as they embark on the world of crochet. I am so grateful that you care about my students as much as I do. My students were excited to start and learn how to crochet. We started out with three girls and when the other students saw how much fun they were having and how their project was growing, they wanted to join in and learn. Now we have 7 girls, and the boys are starting to ask if they can do it! I am so excited that I get to pass along a skill that I learned a young girl. Not only am I excited that they are learning a skill, but they are learning valuable tools for "teaching life lessons." Learning how to be responsible their yarn project, the ability to focus and follow through with the directions and steps, and how to be Persistent, learning how to crochet takes time and patience.”

• A Quick Pick Me Up!

  Thank you, your donation made the morning hunger and the naptime blues pains go away. The treats were a perfect pick me up for the students. These snacks were a quick eat and provided energy that was needed until lunchtime to charge their batteries. They had energy to continue and finish their work, especially on testing days, when they are in their seats for a long time working at a tablet. Some students preferred a healthy snack rather than junk food, so I am hoping their eating habits were impacted as well.”
