Living in a low-income rural area limits exposure to careers and educational opportunities outside of our neighboring communities. Having the technology to explore additional interests and ideas will spark a drive inside my students that will motivate them to not only complete high school but to create and work towards goals for life after high school as well. With some of our students being first-generation college students it is imperative for them and their families to have support and guidance with this process. I truly believe that everyone has a purpose in life and it is my desire to help my students find this purpose. Students will be able to use these iPads to engage in activities including, but not limited to, completing career exploration activities, creating resumes', registering and preparing for the ACT, applying for colleges, applying for scholarships, and completing financial aid applications. I am passionate about the importance of students and their families having the resources and support needed to help them prepare for their journeys. With these iPads my students will have what they need to launch into their futures!
