These garment racks, drawers, hangers, and closet organization items will help students create an organized, safe, and welcoming space for classmates in need. This project would promote both community building and give students a much needed boost in school spirit. Through the comfort closet project we hope to encourage a more positive high school experience for all students. Students in temporary living situations would be able to participate more confidently in school social activities with the appropriate attire for events such as spirit week, prom, Genesys Works internships, Senior Day of action interviews, graduation, half-cap, Decision day, sports banquets, picture days, and more. In addition, student volunteers would learn to work cooperatively with others and become socially active members in their own community.
