With this project, I am looking for different types of stools for my seating in my classroom to offer my students flexible seating options. The stools will provide an alternative to the typical plastic chairs we already have in our classroom and help to make our learning more comfortable and colorful. Sometimes it is difficult to focus on what we have to do, especially when we are 7 years old and not overly excited about what it is we have to do. What makes it worse? Having hard plastic chairs that are as uncomfortable as well bland and boring to look at. These colorful, comfortable stools will help to provide all of my students an alternative to the hard plastic chairs, and help to get focus back on their learning. By providing different options, students will get to choose what they sit on, helping them to take charge of their learning and help them keep focused on the reading skills we are practicing in the classroom.
