With the products I have selected, students will be able to project their work for math problems to discuss. Then they can add ideas and contribute as as we move through guided practice of math concepts and skills. On regular whiteboards the examples and work just aren't the same, the collaboration piece is somewhat missing. Being able to move around the class and not stay tethered to the front of the classroom is also nice so students don't have to try and look through me. It gives me a chance to check in with all students not just the ones closest to the board. Only having two working outlets in the room also calls for many cords all over the room. With the screenbeam being wireless and a laptop instead of a desktop means less cords needed throughout the day, less cords to trip over, huge cord covers to continually move.
