As a new teacher to 4th grade, I have very few books available to my upcoming students. I want to have a classroom library full of options for them. I have began to pick up books from friends, family, and goodwill. I am still so far from having what our classroom really needs! I want my students to be excited about reading and hope to see them come back to the classroom library again and again! Every student deserves to have the opportunity to succeed. I believe this begins with feeling confident and driven. To begin to see our world and what it has to offer, our students need to have a love for literacy.
