These materials will help students practice their work in practical ways outside of the classroom. They will be able to produce better content for the yearbook and newspaper and practice taking photos of big events, sports and their peers in an environment outside of school walls. Our current supplies are older and the number is too small to adequately teach them how to do this important job well. My students are so excited to capture the school and the people inside through a lens, and I'd love to give them the chance to make it happen without stressing about the lack of supplies or the quality of the ones we have.
