A Space and Place for Me: Kinder Kubbies Kan Teach!
Funded Aug 13, 2019I just wanted to send out a huge thank you again to all of you that made our cubbies a reality for my kindergarten students. Now all of my babies have a suitable place and space to store their backpacks, jackets, and snacks as well as all the "treasures" they possess or have created while at school.
To see their faces when they walked in the morning after they arrived was priceless! They immediately began searching for their own cubby and I heard comments such as this:
"Now I don't have to bend down anymore to reach my spot."
And...
"They have hooks! I can hang my jacket and my pack-pack (backpack)."
And...
"Fancy!"
Without a doubt you have a blessed a deserving group of kindergartners and their teacher immensely; moreover, your gift will continue to bless for all the years to come! God bless you for the blessing you are!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Vinson
This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 5 other donors.Little Artists and Scientists: Creating Magic
Funded Sep 16, 2018Thank you so much for your monetary contribution that is making such a huge impact in my classroom. My students are loving the magnetic wands, the marker stand, paints, and art aprons. The wands are like magic; the paints make us all little "Picasso's" and the marker stand and art aprons help us to stay organized as well as clean (all the kindergarten mommas and the teacher say "thanks!"). The students faces are so priceless when they get to see the new materials at their disposal. Without you and your donation, I don't know how I could give them these experiences. You are awesome and we, Mrs. V and her Kinderbees, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! God bless you!!!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Vinson
KinderBee Hive: Where Reading is Life
Funded Aug 14, 2018Thank you so, so much for the beautiful Bee Rug that was provided because of your awesome donation to Donor'sChoose and my project KinderBee Hive: Where Reading is Life! Because of you, my students have a soft spot to land, stretch out, and read to themselves or to a partner. I love that several of my students have noted the alphabet displayed on it and proudly proclaim the letters they recognize.
When the large rug arrived, student were so intrigued, yelling, "Open it! Open it!" They couldn't wait to go to the library and check it out. It will forever be a special place in our bee themed classroom, no doubt!
Once again, thank you for your donation and meeting a need in my classroom! Your support means the world to me and your generosity will effect so many more generation of my KinderBees to come.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Vinson
