These iPads will help reinforce areas of content that students are learning. Our district is 94% poverty so many of the students don’t have access to technology. Instead of students falling behind in the tech world, it is my job to help teach this. The iPads will remain in the classroom as a center for students to work in. There are many kindergarten reading and math apps that I will download to the iPads. This will give students a fun way to learn the content that is being taught all while using hands on technology. My child with Down’s syndrome will also use the iPad as a reward for when he is doing what is expected.
