Funded Nov 26, 2024Thank you so much for your contribution to our Spanish Class Library. In order for someone to acquire a new language they need to practice the language through listening, speaking, writing and reading. Our school does not have the best speakers in the classrooms. Audio comes out staticly and sometimes cuts off and we can have clear audios.
Now students will have clear audios in our classroom with this speaker. Not only will we be able to use our audios for our textbook clearly. Not only that but we can listen to Spanish music in the background as we are working on assignments and/or projects. Once again Thank You!!”

Funded Nov 26, 2024Thank You for your donation. Having a color printer and paper in our classroom will benefit my students. Having a printing station accessible for students in my classroom has helped a lot of my students. Currently they are working on their Reyes Magos and Vision Board Projects and they creating amazing colorful projects. I will be attaching some pictures of the students working on their projects and also of their final products.
Having a colored printer has been very helpful because it has allowed me to print worksheets and readings in color. Being able to print the colorful Reyes de los Magos readings for the students has helped them enjoy more the reading than just a black and white reading. Once again thank you for your donation.”

Funded Nov 4, 2024Thank you so much for your contribution to our Spanish Class Library. Our school does not have funding to provide Spanish books for students to have access to. Thanks to you, now my students will have access to Spanish books to practice their reading and continue acquiring their new language.
Students will have access to these book in my classroom. They can check them out and practice their reading when they finish an assignment early and they have extra time. Students are really excited about the new books and are looking forward to read some of their childhood books they read when they were little in English. Now they will be introduced to those childhood books but in Spanish. Once again Thank You!!”

Funded Nov 3, 2024Thank You so much for your donation to my personal hygiene stations. Students are really happy that I am able to provide the basic personal hygiene items for them. Sometimes students lack these items at home. Other times they just need them during school hours. For example some day students might have a hard day in PE and need deodorant or wipes and they know they can come to my class to obtain them. Other days specially these days that are cold, students need chapstick from day to day. Also, sometimes girls might forget their feminine hygiene and come to my room for a back up.
Thanks to you I am able to have these items accesible to students for cases like these. I love to see their faces when they come to my classroom and ask me if I have a certain item and I point to the personal hygiene and they grab what they need. Word has gone around in school and other students that I don't have in my class have benefitted from this personal hygiene station. Students in STEAM Legacy are really grateful with your donation. I am really gratefully wth your donation because of it I am able to help my students.
Thanks,”

Funded Sep 10, 2024Thank you for donation to our printing station for students. Students are now able to print in color in my classroom when necessary for their projects. They are currently working on the Day of the Dead project and they will be utilizing that printing station non stop. I will be uploading some pictures of their amazing projects that will be possible because of your contributions. I teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 so I have the same students for 2 years. Last year for their projects students had to use black and white pictures because that was the only option that we had here at school. This year they will be in color and students are already excited about how their projects are going to look and they haven't started yet.
Once again, Thank You for your support and hope you enjoy the pictures of the students' projects.”

Funded Sep 9, 2024Your donations of snacks have impacted my students in a positive way. They now have a safe space to come and get a snack when they are hungry. If they are late of for what ever reason they couldn't grab school breakfast then they have the option to grab a quick snack from my classroom. Also, students can grab a snack during my class time if they are hungry and can't concentrate and complete their classwork. Now I can offer my students a snack to calm their hunger for a bit at least for this semester.
Students are happy that now they have options of snacks in case they don't get breakfast at home or here at school. Yes the school sells some snacks but sometimes our students do not have the resources to buy those snacks from the school. Having snacks available for my students have helped my students calm their tummies and help in concentrating to complete their class assignments.
Thank You for helping me have snacks available for my students. This has been a really big game changer for them. Gracias.”

Funded Feb 20, 2023I greatly appreciate your generous donation my students now have uninterrupted lessons and our classroom has become and better learning environment because of your awesome contribution. As a teacher, I now have access to my lesson plans everywhere I go and this is a tremendous help. I can now lesson plan outside, respond to student emails, grade and provide feedback to students outside of the school setting which makes me a more prepared teacher and this absolutely benefits both me and the students. Having this technology allows me to collect digital work and have access to viewing assignments from anywhere. There were instances when I was not able to grade right away because of the lack of technology. Now my grade book is up to date and students can view their grades instantly allowing them time to reflect, and re-submit assignments.
The students are now able to use the iPad to participate in daily lessons which immediately can provide me and the student with feedback as to how the student is performing in my class. I can easily hand over the iPad to a student and ask them to answer a question and promptly revise their work. This can be visible on the screen for other students to view and learn.
Students can also utilize the iPad to search for research necessary to complete class essays. They can quickly search the web, find information and cite it as evidence for their argumentative essays. They also have access to learning applications that can facilitate the writing of these essays. The iPad allows the student to become engage as it facilitates the resources necessary to complete their projects and/or assignments.
I can't thank you enough for your generous contribution, you have made my life as a teacher so much easier."”
