We live in a world that is technology based. I have begun using computer based assessments in my classroom. My students love the use of technology and the opportunity to use the cool tablets that they do not have at home. We have one set of tablets at our school but there are not enough for each student to get their own. The lack of tablets makes testing more difficult and it results in some students taking their test on paper while other students use the awesome new tablets. I hope to receive funding for 7 Samsung Galaxy tablets to make it fair for all students. The new tablets will also make it easier to assess my students ability and to monitor their growth in mathematics.
