Screen Printing 101

I just want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone for helping me on my path to educate and empower these young adults. A project like this is something that will show them what they can do with their education. They are always saying "when am i going to use this?" or "how is knowing this going to help me after the test?". You all just assisted in hopefully helping them answer that question for themselves.”

Throughout the year, my scholars have learned how to manipulate, edit and create images using Photoshop and I would really like my seniors to take something home with them from their high school experience. I think my scholars would really enjoy screen printing their own shirts or bags or cap and gown before embarking on their next journey. This will allow them to see how something like graphic design can be a real business. They have never used a screen printing machine to put their own creation on something that they can have with them for many years down the road.
