These materials are designed to increase a student's problem solving and critical thinking abilities. This will be done gradually, through a variety of engaging hands-on activities and games. Students will be exposed to high quality materials that will guide them through the stages of problem solving. Ultimately students will apply the skills they have developed to programming robots to manuever through a maze and complete a variety of other tasks. These types of problem solving skills are vital in today's 21st century world. Teaching these more complex and higher level thinking skills through games and high interest activities, students will be learning and preparing for their future without even knowing they are learning. The Wonder Workshop-Wonder pack and the KEVA Maze Bots will allow students to learn to problem solve by using robots. Students will have to provlem solve to manuever their robots through mazes and other obstacles. My students will use the Rush Hour, Brick by Brick, and Clue Masters games to develop deeper problem solving abilites all while "playing" a fun and educational game. I can't wait for my students to get started learning with these amazing products!!
