My students may not learn like their typically developing peers, but they can learn. One of the most important skills they need to be successful is to be able to read. The PCI Reading Program is specifically designed to reach students with developmental disabilities. This reading program will jump start their reading by introducing a method to learn to read 148 basic sight words. Since my students stay with me through elementary, they will have the unique opportunity to work the program for years, not just a single year. Additionally, this reading program will benefit all the students that come to me in the future.
