Throughout the school day, my 3rd graders complete work as a whole group, in small groups, and individually. Providing my students with a comfortable learning environment with multiple options will help everyone be more successful and free from constraint. I strive to create a comfortable, safe learning environment for my students. The different seating options that I have asked for will help supplement most areas of my classroom and accommodate all students as well. The Wobble Stools will provide students the chance to swivel around while they work at a higher positioned desk. Along with the Wobble Stools, the Balance Balls can also be used with higher desks, or around other collaborative tables in the classroom. If students are interested in working lower to the ground, the Wobble cushions will provide students with support and comfort while they work at lowered desks and tables. Last but not least the Stacking Stools will provide students with a solid seat if they are interested in more stability. By providing students with flexible seating options, they are learning how to make positive choices that help enhance their time at school.
