  • Need Footballs To Play Football

    Thank you for you generosity. Every year we need new footballs to play. In the past year with the Covid-19, we were unable to do some of our fundraising. We had to use our funds in different places.

    We only had one new football in our possession after our spring season due to the bad weather. The kids were very excited to see the new footballs. They are the new Wilson footballs. The skill players were very excited to use the new footballs.

    The more footballs we have the more reps the players have in practice. This allows our players to get better with their skills. This past year we went from a 1-4 spring season to a 6-3 season heading into the state playoffs.”

  • We Want to See Ourselves Play Football.

    Thank you for donating the funds for a new camera. We have been able to download our games onto HUDL using this camera. The video looks terrific. Our old camera is over 10 years old and did not even record in HD. The new camera is in 4K, which is a big step for us. The kids love it.

    The reason we film our games is that we watch the games with our players. We look at how they played. The camera does not lie. We praise them on the good plays they make and correct the bad plays they made. We use it as a coaching tool and also a learning tool for them as well. It makes them better players.

    The players real love seeing themselves play. They are able to show family and friends their highlights if they were not at the game or out of the area. The most important thing they use the film for is highlights films. They use the video from the camera which we download onto HUDL, which is a video service for all sports. They make highlight films so they can show college recruits and hopefully get recruited to play at the next level.”

The new football season is just around the corner. As a coach, I was thinking besides players what else do we need to be successful next season. We need new footballs, a game ball prep kit, and tack spray for the upcoming season and with no fundraising during the past year, we were not able to buy any footballs for the past season and we need new ones for the upcoming season. The footballs help our offense get the practice we need to succeed in the upcoming season. The more footballs we have, the more repetitions we get throwing and catching that our players need during practice. Also with Covid-19 protocols we need to clean the football during our practice. We have a great bunch of players that are also returning for the upcoming season in just a few months.
