  • Wild about Reading

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you so much for you donation. My students eagerly await the books. They are excited to become book critics as the defend their arguments on whether the book is better than the movie. I personally can not wait to hear the discussions and reading engagement that comes from this project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Waltz

  • Solid, Liquid, Gas

    Funded Oct 15, 2023

We can not thank you enough for your generous donation.

Our tortise is overjoyed that his carrots stay cold and are readily available.

Our unit on solid, liquid, and gas was more than just reading. We got to see liquids turn to solids. We were able to add math explorations and data collecting with temperature and time intervals. The added graphing and data allowed for a deeper cross connection.

The students loved the hands on exploration and real world application within the content. These experiences will stay with them for a life time.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Waltz

  • I Spy With My Eyes... Nope With My Microscope

    Funded Oct 15, 2023

I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation.

The students have a genuine science lab complete with an investigation center.

The details of skin and micronisms they are able to see is truly fascinating. It has only deepened the connections to form and functions of animals.

This connection has led to deeper conversations and details in our prosthetics we created for turtles, hawks, and monkeys. The engineering of skin and joints is like nothing I have seen before. The details of scales, movements, and having them move with the same function has been a joy to watch.

All of it is because of your generous donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Waltz

  • On Your Mark, Get Set....

    Funded Oct 15, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Our students were overjoyed with the learning experience it provided

They were able to creatively explore force and motion while constructing cars.

The collaboration allowed me to develop a community of learners. The details and sharing was above anything I could imagine.

Our unit on force and motion was enhanced with the materials you provided.

Students were able to explore not only force and motion but compare energy provided from solar and wind sources.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Waltz

  • Rock, Rock, Whose Got The Rock

    Funded Oct 15, 2023

Thank so so much for your gerous gift. Students are enjoying the added hands on approach to discovering the beauty in rocks and minerals. It is a joy to watch them perform scratch tests, investigate details in the rocks under microscopes, and converse about the comparisons they have noted. 100%of the students are engaged in the lessons. My multiple language learners are making connections to the English vocabulary. My struggling readers are making connections too. They feel successful rather than the defeat of struggling with text beyond their grasp at this time. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the impact you have made.”

  • WooWoo! All Aboard!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution. The students loved exploring the transcontinental railroad with this hands on project. We engaged in debates of ways around mountains, the struggles of laying the tracks became real. Students took investigations futher with the stem integration of programming the train to move along the routes they developed. The discussion led to prime locations for city development and struggles animals faced as their habitats were destroyed. We even began to explore improvements that newer technology offers with this mode of transportation.”

  • Real World Mysteries

    Funded Dec 31, 2022

Thank you so much for the support. We greatly appreciate your donation. This outside the box approach to learning has them engaged in intervention like never before. Students are loving the engaging mystery stories. They have them applying math skills in each chapter to figure out who did it. Students like that it is multi functional. The book gives us a chance to increase fluency and vocabulary too. The text has them switching gears as the plot twists and turns so they have to pay attention to clues on every page.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Waltz
