iPads will provide the opportunity for our students to use technology in practical and meaningful ways! The iPads will enhance social interaction and drive scientific inquiry. Most of our students do not have access to iPads and other technology at home. Providing access within the classroom will give them the opportunity to use modern technology and develop skills for employment in the future. None of our students will graduate with a high school diploma. They need to develop the skills necessary to find and keep employment after they age out of public school. Having iPads will give them access and opportunity. Through using them for scientific research, students will learn how to use modern technology to answer questions. Students will gain access to technology, develop practical use skills, and foster independence in learning by using iPads to enhance classroom activities and scientific research.
