A space for learning is imperative in every classroom. We use them throughout the day for a writing space, activities, collaboration, math, and even for healthy snacks. The use of tables and personal space is so important to all of my students. When we are at the tables, students can learn, discuss, create, explore, imagine, and grow. The problem we have right now, is the tables we are using are too large for kindergarteners to work at effectively. By having smaller tables, I can achieve the goal of collaborative learning in my classroom. By donating to our classroom, you will not only help increase collaboration in my students, you will also help increase conversation skills, group work, individual growth, focus and their overall academic achievement. Students will be able to focus work together on problems, discuss topics, and enjoy being together in the classroom. By donating to this project, my students will have a greater area to work and play to learn.
