  • With A Cricut, Anything Is Possible!

    Thank you so much for donating the Cricut Machine to our class. We have been able to make so many projects with the machine and fun activities for the students. We are seeing a difference in how motivated our students are when they can do creative projects. When the students first saw the machine they had no idea what it was but when they saw what it can do and help us be more creative with less time, they thought this was perfect for our class. The cricut does a lot of the busy work for us and it helps us with having more time to do things in the classroom. Our next classroom project is fractions and being able to cut out shapes for them to use for equivalent fractions.”

  • Technology With the Help of Flexible Seating

    I would like to thank the donors that donated to my project. My class and I really appreciate all that you did. We have been benefiting from our flexible seating by being able to have my small groups and have students comfortable when working on the flood. We have been seeing a lot of improvement in students work when worksheets are printed in color and students projects can be printed as well. Having the chrome book as impacted my students as well as having the head phones. My students are now able to work independently on the laptop and have no distractions. I teach special education and I have some students that use the chrome book to also type up their papers. We really appreciate everything that was donated to us!! Thank you again!!”

My students absolutely love using technology in their Computer Science classroom. Having a Chromebook will greatly enhance their learning experiences as well as working together with a partner. With this new technology, I will be able to meet their needs while keeping things interesting and fun! The Chromebook device will enable my students to read books, listen to books being read to them, and having visual prompting. This will also help with writing, and work on their math fluency by engaging in instructional games. The color printer will be very beneficial to most of my students since I have a lot of visual learners. Most of my students work best when they have handouts that are printed in color rather then black and white. This motivates them and increases their confidence while they are working. My students need support and seeing that they will be able to work independently will be amazing for their self-esteem. Students are encouraged to connect with others, and to collaborate and create with them, Technology will help me increase confidences as well as providing my students with tools and strategies to help them. Technology keeps my students motivating and engaged. It brings out personalities I've never seen before. They have the biggest smiles and it's making learning fun for them! Seeing my students having confidence in themselves is rewarding. Knowing that most of my students enjoy seeing visuals in color pushes me to want to get more and more for them.
