• Clean and Happy Kids

  Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Your donations helped purchase air fresheners, sanitizer wipes, sanitizer spray, and clorox wipes. These items will help us during these cold winter months that typically come with a lot of sickness and germs.

  When I was carrying in the boxes, the kids were so excited to see what was in them.

  We were actually running very low on these items, so because of you, we have more.

• Shop Til You Drop

• Chip In For Change!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to this grant. Without people like you, grants like this would never be possible. The kids were so excited when I walked through the door with all of the boxes. As a school, we started a new behavior incentive with all of our students. Each student carries a punch card with them at all times. Whenever a staff member sees a student making a good choice, helping out a friend, being a good role model, or following directions, this child gets a punch in his/her card.

  Each Friday, our principal calls the names of everyone who has 10 punches (fills up their card) These students get to spin the prize wheel as a reward. The wheel determines which bucket the kids can choose from.

  The items that you helped purchase with these grants go into these prize buckets. The kids will be so excited to see all of the snacks and candy.

  Thanks again for supporting our students. Your generosity means so much not only to myself, but to the students at Clinton Young Elementary too!”

• Show Me The Money!

  Wow! If you could have seen the looks on my students' faces when I brought down the huge box for our magnetic board! They were so excited because this will help so much when we do math centers and rotations. The counting dots, ten frames, and magentic money will make a HUGE impact on their learning and my teaching.

  These materials will be so helpful, especially when teaching my students how to recognize money and count the value of the coins.

  With the coins being magnetic it will make for quick and easy transitions when we are moving from one skill to the next.

  These are supplies that we needed and use every day!

• Roar For Our Classroom Store!

  Thank you so much for donating to my grant! The kids were so excited when they saw all of the boxes being delivered today! The slinkies, silly straws, yo-yos, coloring books, toys, and make up will be such a hit. Perfect timing because our first classroom store is today!

  Thank you so incredibly much for bringing this grant to life. Because of your generosity, my kids will have so many wonderful classroom stores ahead of them this school year. It is such a motivation for them to make good choices so they can earn Mrs. Smith dollars to shop every couple of weeks.
