Building Diversity Through STEAM

I can not thank you all enough for bringing STEAM into my classroom. Everyday students are able to dive into their imaginations and make their wildest dreams come true. Students in my classroom use the resources daily for morning STEAM stations. I really love starting the day off with a reminder that my classroom is a place where they can show the many different hidden worlds and ingenious creations that are in their minds. Using the resources donated to this project every day starts off amazing.

Upon the arrival of the new materials and resources I saw the wheels in my students minds start to turn. "What could be in the box?" The answers to all of the many questions would be revealed in a UNBOXING PARTY! With every opening of each box my students eyes lit up. Our classroom was now full of cheers, claps, and even a few screams of excitement. This moment was definitely one of the highlights of my teaching career thus far. My students were so excited and ready to jump into the new materials and let imagination and creativity take over.

The sky is now the limit for my students when it comes to exploring the hidden gems in their minds. I look forward to using the materials in this classroom but also my future classrooms to come. With these materials you have made my students fall in love with learning even more, so thank you.”
