Due to our large class size we have 5 tables that limits each child's learning style. Kids all have different learning styles and different ways they like to sit to do their classwork. Having extra seating options will allow them to work in their individual style. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Currently the students crawl under tables, write laying on the floor and using clipboards during their independent work. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk. Research supports flexible seating, allowing students the freedom to have choices in their seating. Thank you for considering our donors choose project.
