Wiggle! Wobble! Work! Wobble Seats for a 1st Grade Classroom

Wobble seats are a flexible seating option that allow students to wiggle and move while working. Brain research has shown that movement increases learning. I want my students to be engaged in learning, and these wobble seats will be an exciting seating option in my classroom! Wobble Chairs from Lakeshore Learning will increase core strength, posture, motivation, and engagement. Flexible seating allows students to have a choice about where they learn best. Flexible seating has been linked to improved behavior, better health and increased academic performance. These seating options will allow my first graders to move around the room and collaborate with their peers. These wobble seats will be an exciting addition my first grade classroom!
