Scientist and engineers work together to observe and learn new things that make the world a better place to live. Using my selected materials, I will create a pond habitat in my classroom. I will us a plastic, clear tub that will hold pond water, plant life and the tadpoles. This will provide students an unique opportunity to Use STEM practices in an integrated way. Students will act like a scientist by observing and recording their daily observations in a science notebook. For tadpole and pond life observations, students will use magnifying glasses to really get up close with tadpoles.
