These books and ELA materials will give my students options. It will allow them to explore different books, while learning to read and practicing the skills they are learning. I want my students to see that there are tons of books available to them, and once they have learned to read, sound out words, understand word families and rhyming, books can open their imaginations and hopefully they will find a love of reading. I plan on using the books in this project as a part of our small group stations for my students to read the books, also utilize the books during quiet time and brain breaks. Allowing students to take breaks and calm themselves is an important lesson to learn. Additionally, giving my students access to books, will allow them to relax their bodies during quiet time while giving them something to do. For this project, I am asking for games to reinforce the lesson, I think differentiating the lesson, allowing games is a great way for students to learn. The games allow the students to play while learning, which I think is a great way to practice the lesson.
