These classsroom materials will help enhance my students success for the remainder of the school year and for years to come. They each have many different learning styles and differentiated materials play a huge role in their learning. Many of the games on the list will have a huge impact on them. Most if not all of my students are working on reading and comprehension. The games and reading comprehension bingo activities I chose will give them different ways to enhance their skills rather than always paper and pencil work. The predicting outcomes game is my favorite on the list. In small group centers, we participate in individualized reading groups and making predictions and inferences is many of my students goals. This is another way to help them understand and generalize the topic. In addition, I have a few students who are still working on basic phonemic awareness skills and understanding letter concepts and the phonemic awareness activity magnetic activity tin will be an asset to learning and mastering the concept. The Roll and solve subtraction game is amazing. I’ve played the addition version with my students and they love it. They are working on tightening up their subtraction facts. The write and wipe number lines will be used with this as well. They are also all learning to be socially appropriate and functional and board games are a huge hit with my students. Skatepark Rally predicting outcomes game will help with their reading and also relates to their interests with skate parks. Furthermore, the magnetic folder bins on my list will be used for independent work tasks for each group during center time. This will be a place for work to be done and finished labeled.
