• A Clean Carpet Helps Keep a Germ Free Classroom

  We are so grateful for your donations because thanks to you now we have the opportunity to sit, dance and have our morning meetings on a clean, free of germs carpet. Our preschoolers love our meeting area and they love our beautiful carpet which gets easily dirty with all the wonderful activities that are going on in the classroom. Your kind donations have allowed us to have a powerful vacuum cleaner that helps keep our classroom clean and free of germs. Thank you so very much for your kindness. • Tracing Our Way to First Grade!

  Our kindergarten class has been very excited about the new learning tools that were donated to them and that have helped them in learning letters and sounds as well as practicing their writing skills. Some of the students who were having difficulties learning the letter names have shown great improvements thanks to those tools. I wish I could show their faces showing their exitement while using those tools but I can only show their hands ( school's policy)

• Bilingual Books and Carpet

  Our Kindergarten class was so excited when they saw the carpet for the first time, some of them couldn't believe that it was for them to sit on it. We are using our carpet to sit during our morning meetings and read aloud and to sit during our guided reading groups. We are using the bilingual books you have donated to us for our guided reading.

  Our Dual language class is learning to read in English and Spanish because the books we got tells the story in English and also in Spanish. Those books have helped the class to become more fluents in both languages and we thank you for that. The pictures that I will include here will give you a better understanding on how we are using the resources you donated to our class. I will be forever grateful because those resources will be used with other future kindergarten classes.”

• Glue Our New School Year to a Great Beginning

  Thank you so much for your kind donations.

  During our literacy block the students were using the magnetic wipe board to write the letters of the alphabet in order and to use magnetic letters to place them in order too. They were so excited when they saw that the magnetic letters were sticking to the magnetic board. Some of the students started writing their names, others used the dry erase markers to write words in English and in spanish. It says that a picture is worth a thousand words, therefore here are some pictures of the students using the materials they got from your donations.
