Our world is changing fast; our students are too! I want my students to be innovative, creative thinkers, not just quiet, cooperative robots. Research already shows us that kids need to move to learn. Experience shows me that they need to have ergonomic, comfortable, varied seating options to do their best learning. Letting students choose a seat where they know they can be successful in learning, gives them agency over their learning. It lets them develop meta-cognition and self-efficacy. Why should I spend my time teaching kids to sit, when I want to be teaching them to learn? By donating to our project, you will be supporting the next generation of scientists, doctors, inventors and teachers. You will be helping improve attitudes about learning, increasing levels of engagement and helping make our classroom inviting and fun!
