STEAM/STEM has become a great way to incorporate Science. Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into our daily learning. STEAM Bins are great activities for students to do as they come into the classroom in the morning or a fabulous activity to do when students finish their work. Students will be able to get a STEAM Bin and build or create things from task cards. Each bin will contain different items. One will have Legos. One will have Magnetic blocks. One will have straws and pipe cleaners. One will have Play Dough. One will have colored popcicle sticks with velco ends. And some will have other classroom manipulatives. They will have questions to further their thinking. They will also have writing activities to draw in Language Arts and help make our learning inclusive. These bins are very engaging and help students become excited about their learning.
