Technology is a powerful tool with the ability to engage students in the learning process. My students have been extremely lucky to be provided with a Chromebook to use in the classroom. However, we are woefully short on a classroom sets of headphones. Students listen to audiobooks, and some have tests read out loud to them from their chromebooks. The classroom set that is currently shared by 3 teachers and 6 classes are either old or broken, making them unusable. Having headphones becomes a necessity for independent work. With these headphones, my students will be able to use the programs on their chromebooks, and complete assignments without having to have their computer sound turned on, disrupting other students in class. I know the students would appreciate having working headphones available to them when they are focusing on their work. Thank you so much for considering a donation to Mrs. Lindell’s classes.
