Funded Nov 12, 2022Thanks for being so generous towards my project. The funds and resources are so badly needed and appreciated! We couldn’t have done it without you. Dreams can become a reality as our words can be put into action. My students will have greater chances at success because of you!”

Going Global: NHS Robotic Competing at World Championship
Funded Jun 12, 2018I want to say thank you for the amazing gift of support that you provided for an awesome group of students. Our 9-day trip to the Global Conference on Educational Robotics was a smashing success. Our kids were able to walk away with two major awards; Top Rookie Team (Worldwide) and 2nd place in our double elimination bracket. The International Botball tournament was an absolutely amazing experience for these students as their failures early in the week caused them to have to put in an extra 8-12 hours/ day in trying to redesign, rebuild, re-code, and troubleshoot their robots. Their tenacity in overcoming their obstacles was outstanding. Their willingness and desire to improve is the only thing that allowed them to overcome a rough start and become a (deserving) award winning team. Our trip was most definitely highlighted by our performance in the double elimination tournament but this would not have been possible without our attendance in some great technical and mechanical sessions and collaboration with other teams that we made friends with. After returning back to our home town, I am glad to report that all of our underclassmen will be participating in the program and have been some of our greatest recruiters in building our numbers for the 2019 competition. Our progress toward our next goal has already been outstanding.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Clement
