• Wiggles and Jiggles Away/ Soft Ambiance Welcome

  My students were so happy when they walked into the room and saw the wiggle seats and light filters! The light filters create a cozy atmosphere in our classroom. The harsh fluorescent light no longer makes a glare on their papers. It has allowed my students to read and work in a soft light. We are so thankful for the light covers.

  The wiggle seats are such a fun part of our teacher table. The students can wiggle, jiggle, and move the seats up and down! This helps the students focus more during teacher time because they are able to move and wiggle as needed. The students absolutely love this seating option! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity to our classroom!”

• Colorful Choices and Gift Giving Classroom

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students love using our new erasable pens as a reward. Doing work can get tedious and boring for some students but when you give them the opportunity to write in different colors, it adds a little excitement to the paper. The student's eyes light up every time they get to use this reward.

  The library books added to our library has truly inspired my students to read more books. They can't always get to the library so these books give my students more access to reading. They love all the different genres included in our assortment. Having these books make my students better readers.

  The colored printer has been a huge help in our classroom. We used it at Christmas time to make snowman pictures for their loved ones. I have a student who was moving to a new school. He was so sad to leave his friends. We were able to take pictures together and print them for him to take with him on his new journey. This printer was a life saver for this child. He will always have the picture to look back on remember his time in third grade.”

• Fun Learning Activities

  I would like to than you for supporting my classroom with the Teacher's Pay Teachers gift card. This has impacted my classroom and students in many ways.

  First, I was able to purchase several escape room activities that incorporates math in a fun way. The students are able to work together to solve problems which helps them move through the game and eventually escaping out of the math mansion.

  My students have learned cooperation, listening, and problem solving skills because of your donation. Escape rooms are a fun trend right now and my students don't even realize they are doing school work. Together they learn to problem solve and look for clues to help their team succeed while strengthening their math skills.

  Teachers pay teachers is filled with so many games, activities, and fun presentations that help my students stay engaged and focused during this technological age. I am so grateful for your donation”

• Classroom Pet/Eyes Have It

  I want to say thank you for your donations on my classroom project. My students benefited from your kindness in several ways. First, my students were thrilled when they walked in the classroom and saw the fish tank filled with fish. They worked together feeding and caring for the fish. This project gave my students the opportunity to take ownership in the classroom. They were able to watch the fish grow and reproduce by the end of the school year.

  Secondly, the document camera allowed my students the opportunity to teach their classmates. They took turns daily using the camera for Daily Language Review. Each student was excited when it was their turn to teach the class. This impacted my students tremendously by learning from their peers.

  Finally, my students have enjoyed the Scholastic News. I implement the magazine in Science. This allows my students the opportunity to read about interesting things happening around the world. They love the digital component to the magazine as well. After watching a video the students have the opportunity to visit with their peers about what they just watched and they learn to respect each others points of view.”
